Big harvest coming up this Saturday!
We’ve been invited to harvest fruit from a magnificent local home orchard – apples, pears, nashi & quince are ready to pick. This is a great orchard; well designed, well maintained and no sprays or chemicals used. We’ve created 15 spaces for the event so it’ll be a fun social time, too.
The venue is kid-friendly with off-street parking plus the orchard is well fenced and neat & tidy. There are some European wasps in some of the ripe fruit so don’t come if you’re allergic. It’ll be a great time so if you want to join in, register as a volunteer and sign up for the event.
