We’re experimenting with a few early evening harvests, as well as continuing our daytime ones. This is because a few volunteers work full-time and have asked for harvests outside regular work hours.
Next Tuesday, we’re harvesting from a heavily-laden pear tree. It is dropping pears now so we’d better get to it – and the weather deteriorates after mid-week. The tree is tall so climbing ladders will be required.
The event is listed here:

To get a ticket, you need a password, which we’ll email to registered volunteers. Everyone is welcome, but please register as a volunteer first: https://hiddenorchard.org/get-
BYO boxes for your share of the pears – which the owner says are firm but taste great when stewed. (If you have a tall ladder or stepladder that you can transport easily and safely, please bring that along, too!)
